I still love the blank page.

“I love creating” still fits. It just isn’t the whole story anymore.

I like taking an idea and making it real. Sometimes that looks like a film. Sometimes it’s an app. Sometimes it’s a workflow that takes an annoying piece of work out of the day.

AI is changing the distance between an idea and a first version. That makes it easier to try things. It doesn’t make every first version good.

The choices still matter: what the story is, who it’s for, what belongs in the frame, and what should be left out. A new tool can help make the thing. It can’t decide what I want my work to stand for.

My film portfolio is one part of that exploration, including brand work and clearly labeled concept and speculative projects. The field notes are another: a place to share what happens while I’m building.

I’m keeping both. The work on the screen, and the notes from behind it.
